  • How often should I receive reiki?
    This is totally at your discretion. Think of it as working out. You feel good after one workout but notice better results after working out for a month. Consistency with reiki is key as well. Post session, you and I can discuss what is the best plan for you individually and what you’re looking to accomplish.
  • What can I expect during my reiki session?
    Everyone experiences energy differently. Some people see colors, shapes, actual images and even have mentioned a sensation of floating. You may cough, your belly may gurgle like you’re hungry; this is all from the energy moving. Depending on what your body is harboring, you may have an emotional release and cry. All of these are perfectly normal and please know you’re in a safe space during your session. This is your time to heal emotionally, physically and spiritually. Even if you feel nothing at all, know that the energy is still working.
  • How do I prepare for my reiki session?
    There is nothing to prepare for. You will however need to send me your completed Liability Waiver at least 24 hours before your appointment. Please plan for traffic and arrive at least 5 minutes before your session time so we can begin on time. You will need to remove large earrings and necklaces for the session. If you come in sandals, feel free to bring socks. *Special Note: It is best to avoid alcohol and processed food 24 hours before the session.
  • Can I receive reiki while I’m pregnant?
    If you’re pregnant, please let me know as there will be a few things you will need to do before your session. If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out and ask.
  • What happens after my reiki session?
    “During reiki, toxins are stirred up in the body. I’ll end with a technique that will assist your body in eliminating those toxins, allowing you to heal more efficiently. Post session, some feel energized… I recommend drink lots of water and avoiding alcohol after your session to continue to flush the toxins from the body.”
